How long does it take for orders to ship? TOP
Our goal is to ship in-stock orders as quickly as possible, typically next-day or within 48 hours.  Temporarily out of stock items may hold up an order if we know we will be receiving more stock soon, otherwise we will create a back-order and ship separately or issue a refund on items that are no longer available.

How will my order be shipped? TOP

Orders are shipped "best way" through the United States Postal Service.  We rarely ship UPS.  To further break down this answer:

• Single pattern up to perhaps 3 or 4 patterns can ship via First Class mail.
• Many patterns or multiple book or magazine orders are usually shipped via Priority Mail.
• During periods of free shipping (holiday and special promotions) we choose the most economical shipping method.

How much does it cost for shipping? TOP

For domestic orders within the U.S. only:

Shipping calculations on web sites are generally estimates as it is nearly impossible to know a package's weight at the time of placing the order.

Books and multiple patterns that can fit within the USPS Priority Flat Rate envelope ship for the current USPS Priority Flat Rate and ship with Delivery Confirmation.

Single patterns and other small items up to single magazine orders normally ship First Class and are subject to normal USPS First Class shipping charges.

Orders paid for by credit card will be charged for exact shipping at the time the order is processed and ready to ship.  The shipping charge total you see when completing your order is only an estimate.

Orders paid for by other methods will use shipping and handling charges calculated by the shopping cart and are currently set at 20% of the purchase price of your order (before tax, Maine residents only).
